OpenScout Deliverable D4.2.2 "Report on the Expansion of the OpenScout Community" has been recently published. The report presents the evolution of the OpenScout user communities, their needs and expectations, as well as the strategies for the final rollout of the OpenScout portal.
The first part of the report presents the feedback of the users from the different communities and shows how these evaluations have been taken into account within the OpenScout portal. The second part of the report adopts the users’ perspective and describes how the services and functionalities provided by OpenScout single it from other tools available on the web. This chapter also presents a detailed analysis of the needs, expectations and behaviours inside each user community (students and participants, professors and instructors, SME’s and large companies). Results of these surveys will be presented in an upcoming OpenScout workshop at EDiNEB. Finally, the report presents an update on the regional agencies. It describes their motivations and requirements, their contribution to the rollout and dissemination of the portal, and presents an update on their development.
